The model minority myth is the problematic portrayal of the Asians as a monolithic group of quiet, hardworking, politically silent, and therefore well-behaved immigrants in opposition to the black community. This anti-black myth has successfully achieved its purpose in creating a wedge between Asians and other people of color groups in America.
It is sad to note that we are still a man-eat-man society along with fighting disasters and crimes. The gaps too huge, and everyone tries to survive at the expense of the other.
