The main reason is that it compromises the principles of integrity, honesty, and originality, which are primary in the education system. When a person plagiarizes, they take another person's idea, work, or even words and present them as their own without acknowledging the owner (Pratama 512). This process usually misleads other people about a person’s efforts and abilities.
