Please attend the lecture on narrative structure before submitting your response to the questions posted below. Once you post, you'll be able to see the posts of your peers. Feel free to respond to your peers’ take on different films by engaging with the interesting points they make and offering alternative and/or complementary interpretations. • Students' initial response to discussion questions are due on the first Monday following class and should be 250-300 words. The initial response will be worth 4 points. • Subsequent postings (x3, 2 points possible for each) must engage and respond to postings and comments by others and should be a minimum of 75-100 words. There is no specific due date for these later posts but try to post them within 2-3 weeks of the assignment, in order to enable timely conversation. • You can post video or audio responses or replies, and add links to film excerpts. • Check Discussions Overview document if you have questions. • Do not worry if your posts are not graded immediately. Since the deadlines are loose for this assignment, your professor and TA will periodically check the discussion and add your points. The system allows us to see all your postings clearly (even if they are late), so nothing will be lost.
