Part 1: Marketing Seminar
Most of the companies are seeking better marketing strategies with exceptional business and Return on Investments (ROI) outcomes. Digital marketing workshop organized by Digital Champs took place between 6th and 8th November 2019. The seminar target was equipping emerging online markets with revolutionizing digital marketing skills that would help them improve their products and companies' presence on the vibrant online interface.
The workshop facilitators were three personalities that have vast experience and knowledge in digital marketing. The chief facilitator was Professor T. J, a leading digital marketing guru in the country. The emphasis of the training was the use of digital tools to transform marketing over the vast virtual interface that puts more focus on Business to Business Marketing (B2B) (Hughes &Vafeas, 2019). The critical components of the drills were the optimization of Search Engine marketing, product presentation/ branding/ content marketing, new trends in internet marketing, social media marketing, web-based banner advertising, and smartphones/mobile applications marketing.
There was a demonstration on the integration of the 4 Ps (Product, Promotion, Price, and Place) into digital marketing to yield a better experience. The training helped in having a comparative analysis of conventional and digital marketing. The structure of the sessions was done correctly for a clear understanding. The facilitators often engaged the participants by enabling them to participate in interactive activities in between the courses for a better and meaningful knowledge of new digital marketing concepts. For instance, there was a comprehensive comparison of traditional online marketing, email marketing, and new marketing trends, social media marketing.
The discussions also took into consideration the rapid changes in the digital marketing world and how a marketer can keep up with the pace to remain relevant. Also, the financial aspect of digital marketing was well covered. The commercial component involved costs, return on investment (ROI), and economic viability. The organizers and facilitators of the seminars made an effort to compress a concept that requires more than six months of learning to three days concentering on practical applications of digital marketing.
The workshop presentation enabled me to have an excellent learning experience in transformative digital marketing models. As an emerging digital marketer, I have become familiar with high-end applications of digital marketing that are set to change product and business promotion on a more extensive online platform. The lessons I learned on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on top search engines such as Google will enable me to help my clients have high web page ranking, easy traffic navigation, and access by their potential customers. The other areas that were presented with a high level of precision and to detail are the use of 3D printing, and new digital marketing approaches in product advertising and presentation online. Though techno-savvy in digital marketing, the trainers used basic terminologies that made it easy to understand and interpret the key concepts. Professor T.J gave insightful facts on complex digital marketing notions by using simple illustrations that helped in comprehending essential facts.
The case study presentation on Starbuck was terrific as it assisted in understanding the application and impact of advanced digital marketing in product development and high sales turnover. The processes exerted confidence in the participants who became more prepared to work on major digital marketing projects in the future. The content of the seminar will not help me in becoming knowledgeable but enhance skills that will help...
