Globalization has affected world markets tremendously. Any business with a vision to thrive and be sustainable in this era must therefore operate from a global view. This means identifying viable opportunities and adjusting to fit the global standards. After carefully analyzing the global market linguistic accent training specialists (LATS) company was formed. This company had discovered that phone companies, banks, departments’ stores outsource a large part of their customer service call centers to India (Gilberto, 35).
However as much as many companies outsourced call service centers to India the greatest undoing for their employees in India was their heavy accent which had adverse impacts on their customer satisfaction and retention. Therefore the company was formed to solve this problem. LATS targeted businesses and American companies because these groups had not been reached by its competitors. This paper will propose promotion and pricing strategies that LATS to achieve their goals and maximize profits.
For LATS company to succeed in their venture there is need for them to develop promotional strategies. These strategies are aimed at establishing communication link between LATS and their clients who are not only individuals but also businesses and American companies. The purpose of these promotions is to inform, influence and persuade the businesses and the American companies to have their customer service workers to upgrade their accent. There is need for these workers to have adequate skills to speak in regionalized English accents, or at least mask their heavy accent. This is because the heavy accent makes the Indian clients to be judgmental of their services especially in the global market especially the Americans. This concept stems from the fact Americans considers Indians unqualified (Gilberto, 38).
One promotional strategy will be to use the media. Different areas of the media will be used. Internet advertisement will be used. To implement this advertisement and information on the benefits of customer care personnel in India being able to speak regionalized English will be sent.
