The “Rondo Alla Turca” was composed and named by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart during the classical music era. It is a piano sonata music in three movements where the last movement symbolizes the Turkish March, also known as the Turkish Rondo. The name Alla Turca means the Turkish way. The music became popular because Wolfgang’s composition was influenced by the Turkish band, which was the only military band in Europe, thus changing Western music. With that monopoly, more people listened to it. The music produced by the Turkish Janissary bands was fashionable, which led Mozart to use their form.
