Concert Report
On March 26, 2018, a concert titled Chorus of Knights and Nobles was held at Goodwin Recital Hall, and I got a chance to attend it with a bunch of friends. It mainly featured different blossoming musicians or performers with an assortment of unique musical combos. Thankfully, our university has provided us with a unique and fantastic opportunity for exploring the talent of those graduates and postgraduates. Being a student, I do understand how difficult it is to manage curricular and extracurricular activities simultaneously, but as they are majoring in musicology and are ready to enter the practical life after completing their thesis or dissertations, those performers were well-prepared and had successfully engaged the audience.
It was indeed a golden chance for my colleagues and me to learn something new and extraordinary. I could observe that lighting was dim, coupled with candlelit tables and chairs made for a romantic and unforgettable date. Apparently, we were not there for a romantic date but to enjoy the entire concert as well as understand its purpose. Chorus of Knights and Nobles helped me understand the difference between nobles and knights. When the empires collapsed, or the kings faced severe problems, the nobles were responsible for managing the overall system and ensuring the safety and protection of people.
