For example, a healthcare organization might leverage advanced medical technology (strength) while addressing patient wait times (weakness). Moreover, PESTLE analysis examines macro-environmental factors affecting healthcare organizations, including political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental influences (Sigcha et al., 2020). This tool helps consultants understand how changes in regulations, funding, health consciousness, medical advancements, laws, and environmental factors impact the organization.
Additionally, root cause analysis is a systematic method used to identify the fundamental causes of a problem. Unlike other methods that may only address symptoms, root cause analysis aims to uncover the underlying issues contributing to the problem (Karkhanis & Thompson, 2020). Implications of Incorrect Assessment
A wrong perception of the client's needs can have inevitable consequences in the healthcare industry. If clients' problems are not well understood, solutions provided may not adequately address the problems; thus, interventions may not address the problems. This can lead to inefficiency where lots of time, money, and energy are used in wrong strategies that do not work in the business. Importance of Valid and Reliable Sources
The data collected and used in the consultancy process must be valid and reliable. In this context, validity is the extent to which a construct is assessed. In other words, the information must adequately reflect the subject area it seeks to portray. For instance, a survey that assesses patient satisfaction should be a reliable assessment of the patient's feelings instead of containing influences from external aspects.
