Rock star is an American company that is specialized in the co-production of the video game producer which succeeded BMG .The company was founded in 1998 by Sam and Dan Houser as a subsidiary to the Take-Two Interactive. The company has since made a great milestone in the production and publication of the video games. The success of the company can be attributed to the application of good strategies in the industry which may include communication.
There is recent development by Rock star in the video game production which is seen as taking a different trend in production. According to Gee (2014), the audiences are seen as the customers and people who can do the co-production of the games. The audience is in fact becoming the co-producers and the marketers. The recent study has seen the gaming production by Rock star taking a new development in the online activism relating to the fans and the business community in relation to the scores and the audience. There is a close relationship between the producers of the games and the audience in relation to the production of the films. The study has taken steps to find out the relationship and the how it is discussed within the cultural perspectives in line with gaming. The increased rise and the shaping of the relationship are because of the reason that it is seeking the popularity just like other media like the television and radio. All this increased development will be successful if the best strategies are employed in the co-production.
The media industry has in the recent times taken a new twist in the matters of production in relation to the gaming matters .The aspect of doing the co-production of games, especially the computer games is taking place at a high speed in the world today like the case of Rock star. Through the coming up of the companies of the co-production like Rock star there is development of gaming and the new opportunities coming up. The co-production of games is the combination of minds that come to a common thinking and finding a shared findings or solution. In the area of co-production it is the coming up of people whose purpose is to create and consult in different models of work in different areas, from the time the project of producing a game starts to the time of completion of the project. In the co-production it usually includes the combination of the efforts of the producer and the individuals who are the assistants (co-producers) in making a production successful. This process involves the creation of a good channel that will ensure that the tasks have been completed in good time (Gee, 2014).
The digital games and the audience have significantly increased in the recent times because of the high interest and fun which computer games offer. There is also the diversification of the audience across the cultures even if there is stereotype. According to the research that has been conducted to the rock star in the recent past there is an average consumers of the digital game which is approximately 33 years old .Because of the high need of the consumers and high number of people playing the computer games the co-production will be essential as it will boast the production (Arnab et al., 2013)
The way in which sustainability can be achieved in gaming and videos is through the use of communication in the development especially in the areas which has a high traffic of people, and using such people as the centers of communication. The technique that is used in this case is the participatory approach where the communication is done interpersonally through the use of the community media in line with the production and the use of the video games in conveying the information.
        The duties and the responsibilities of the communicator are very essential in the recent days. This is so because the world has a strong desire to learn on the current information so as to know what is happening in the world. In the well to do countries which have developed the information sharing is very vital, and cannot be compared to other things, so such information contained in the online games will be of great importance if shared. Researchers have found out that the different sources of information are of great importance and that is why the online games have not been left out as a source of the information. The act of sharing the information through the games online may also bring change in the structure, social, and the functional relationship in the society.
According to Dutta (2011), communication plays a great role especially in the matters of the change, which take place in the modern days across the globe as the social, economic, environmental and urbanization. It is also the way in which the integration and exclusion is done in the association of the modernization of the communities, development in communication in societies where there is an inclusion of women and young children.
The effect of the social media on the community has been made in the minds of the researches in the aspects of communication. There are various theories that try to explain how the social media is affecting the social change. The media has a great effect on the social change especially in the line of communication. The use of the online games has really affected the social change as the people are from time to time increasing in the number for viewing the games online (Kim,2017).
