The World Trade Center (WTC) was opened on 4th April 1973. This large complex building is located in Lower Manhattan, New York. The North Tower or One WTC is about 417 meters tall and the South Tower or Second WTC is approximately 415 meters high. The building was bombed during the 11th September 2001 terrorist attacks and has never been the same since then. The WTC needs to be preserved since it is a significant landmark and a part of the history of the United States of America (USA).
The WTC reconstruction is not finished, but the building is expected to serve Americans in various ways in the future. People near the WTC in upcoming years are likely to be prominent businesspeople. Besides, this large building will have office spaces to let, and many big companies are likely to have their working spaces there (Plitt and Binderglass 2019). In that light, individuals living or working near the WTC in the future are likely to be using private means of transport with high-end cars. The building will serve them well since it contains enough parking slots for people with offices in the complex. Additionally, the majority of people near the WTC will be the working class and with a constant source of income. They are likely to be wearing flashy formal clothes since they will be involved in big business transactions.
The best solution for the WTC in the future would be to make it a museum. Already, the building is known as a significant historical landmark in the USA. However, people should be allowed to interact with WTC by visiting exhibitions and artworks displayed there. The income generated should be used to maintain the building. The WTC ...
