Margret Mead was an anthropologist and is best known for her famous theory towards building up of the Oceania culture. She is also known for knowledge and understanding through her studies concerning psychology and culture of the illiterate Oceania people. Her best-known theory of imprinting denoted that children learned from the adults by watching their behavior. Margret also discovered that there were different gender roles in the United States which influenced the behaviors of males and females (Good Therapy, 2015). She also discovered that adolescent behavior in young boys and girls depended on the cultural upbringing. In this case, she discovered that different boys and girls from different regions with diverse cultures had different adolescent behavior. Last, Mead learned and contributed to the reasons for different and diverse sexual behavior, natural character or traits, and various aspects of psychology.
