Tactics To Achieve Goals
Based on the set-out plan in the simulation, the available tactics that would work well to achieve the set goals include inspecting the uranium enrichment, accounting for the production of plutonium, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspection, economic sanctions, and missile and conventional weapon restriction. However, the IAEA inspection would serve to achieve the most goals for this undertaking. First, there should be a re-arranged moment of access to nuclear sites among citizens only and partial enforcement of other protocols. Secondly, the IAEA should also access the areas within the first 90 days after a suspicious activity has been detected. Third, there should be 24-hour access to every nuclear site, even those belonging to the military bases. Finally, the IAEA regulations under the Code 3.1 should be enforced and allow the IAEA to access sites within 45 days following reporting of suspicion.. Obstacles To Achieving The Goals Of The Plan
In the current political climate, the IAEA faces several obstacles in achieving the goals of this plan, both in political and economic spheres. IAEA has a mandate to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. This calls for increased technical measures to assure the international community that such nuclear materials will solely be used for peace-keeping processes.
