Claude Tousignant is one of the most known Canadian pop art artists. Tousignant is deemed to be a major contributor to the second generation of modern art. Though his works and other artists, it is expressed that art paintings should be entirely based on color and form. Hence, the traditional elements of expression and meaning associated with art are eliminated. A close analysis of Tousignant’s artworks reveals a common signature of using a circle. Acelerateur Chromatique is one of the most popular forms of art by Claude Tousignant. The mechanical approaches deployed by the artist in the painting produce visual effects, best described as eye movement.
