Musicians are products of the work they compose, and there is a fulfilling sense of listening to some artistic works considered the best. For example, there is nothing as relishing as a musician knowing that some of their pieces are instrumental in society, and he or she takes time to listen to them after composition. In the provided podcast, the talk is about Ludwig van Beethoven, who was an instrumental piece in musical composition. The only challenge is that over time, Beethoven became deaf to the point that listening to some of his compositions or works was a challenge. The article also talks about the effects of deafness and blindness, stating that deafness completely cuts you from the world. In contrast, blindness deprives an individual only of their ability to perceive the world. In the case of Beethoven, it would have been clear that since he is deaf, he is cut from the world entirely. However, that is not the case because Beethoven was an influential composer. Different composers listened and worked on his pieces further, which showed that despite his deafness, Beethoven was still being recognized.
The podcast also communicates how Beethoven adjusted from the disability as he did not quit but instead worked hard to continue being influential in the music sector.
