Travel Plans for Family and Friends
The tourism industry has grown tremendously over the past few decades. People have recognized the benefits of travel and have largely embraced. People travel out alone, with families or friends, as couples or even as colleagues. Analyzing my family and friends’ recent or upcoming travel plans and comparing them with the examples in the text, there are several reasons why people travel and, often, a number of such travel plans are impacted by the economic concerns.
Family travels provide an opportunity to spend time with the other family members. In the present world, people have become so preoccupied with their careers, education and businesses and, rarely get time for the family. Taking some time away from the work and education helps the family to spend some time together is a worthy way to keep the family close and happy. It is also a bonding opportunity between friends where one is able to meet new people and make new friends.
Most people travel for relaxation purpose. Travelling helps relax the body and mind; it helps one to refresh from the daily work and thoughts on life. One can at times be overwhelmed by the issues of life or work. Therefore, travelling is the best place to re-energize as it keeps one away from the usual environment and helps regain the lost strength before resuming the same routine. Research has indicated that those people who travel widely are less likely to get depressed or stressed.
To get a different perspective of life, people usually get into routines if they live and work at the same region or country with no travels. Travelling provides an opportunity to experience the lifestyle of a new place, meet new people, have new meals, and to interact with other cultures and nature. It prevents one from being complacent and be flexible even in their way of life.
