For many police sections, the choice of tools is determined by available expertise and department budgets. Discussed here are several computerized hardware tools and devices that enable computer investigations. The paper provides a brief description of two of the hardware tools and how they are supposed to work. It explains how it might help forensic operations in finding evidence for digital crimes.
