Week 4 Writing Assignment: Project Implicit

All of us have biases and prejudices. This week we examine them with the help of Project Implicit. Scroll down to the question "What is implicit bias?". Click on "take a test". Scroll to the bottom of the next page and read through the consent form. If you are okay with the consent form, click on "I wish to proceed" at the bottom of the page. If you aren't okay with the consent form, contact your instructor for an alternative assignment. Click on any one of the tests and take the test. Answer these questions in a 2-3 page paper using APA 7th edition style: What did you think about the reasons that Project Implicit exists? Are they valid reasons? What test did you take and why? Do you agree with the results? Why or why not? What did you learn about yourself and your biases and prejudices from taking the test? It's okay to copy and paste the question, followed by your response. Your paper must have a cover page and reference page in addition to 2-3 pages that answer the questions.
