The Democracy of the “People” is Understood to Include Everyone
Democracy is an essential system of government that holds together the political community. The term literary means a rule by the people. In the concept of democracy, individuals are granted the right and power of governing, and they cannot be understood without reference to these entitlements. As a political institution, democracy in a real historical-social context has always been advocated, initiated, and formed by a few people. Accordingly, the power-sharing deal to govern within democracy was not set up in its early stages but progressed gradually, extending from privileges of the minority to the majority (Shuifa & Jinglei, 2008).
