> Do not select or include a journal article or an article from the "New York Series."
> Sources: Only "one" News Article and the Textbook. Do not include or use more than these two sources.
Provide a 2–3-page summary and analysis of the article and social problem in general. It MUST be at least two pages of content (the essay). Do not submit more than three pages of content. The cover and reference pages do not count.
Be sure to incorporate at least four social concepts from class into your analysis to support your key points. In other words, apply at least four social concepts related to (identified in) the news article.
Use proper APA formatting. You must include a cover page, a reference page, and subheadings to identify the two sections. You must include in-text citations and a reference list.

The gender pay gap is one of the most significant social problems in gender inequality over the last 20 years. It refers to how men and women are paid differently in the same job industry. It is gender inequality that affects women negatively across all fields, including education and employment. It is a gap that promotes gender inequality even wider for Native Americans. For example, a type of work that requires construction requires more men to be in this field because women are less masculine than men. Notably, these male jobs tend to be high-paying compared to jobs designed for women, thus increasing the gender pay gap.
