The two resources chosen include “Age & Aging: Crash Course Sociology #36” and “Aging: Deviation by Christensen.” The two resources represent social class and healthcare. Gerontology is the study of physical changes in human beings, and it entails age, mental stability, and other aging-related issues (Christensen, 2013). The two resources provide detailed information on the causes and consequences of aging. It has impacted my understanding in significant ways. For example, the aspect of aging triggers other health issues such as mental illness, among others. Additionally, the old narrative of gold is changing significantly in the current world (CrashCourse, 2017). Age can come in different ways. For instance, when individuals retire, it can be described as a retirement spree.
