Aristotle, Harold Lasswell and Max Weber had different views on the nature of politics and the political system. Aristotle was actually among the major philosophers in historical books of Ancient Greece. His essay politics was meant to address on the basic problems of the political organization and grounds. He normally discussed on the political society, slavery and the relationship between women and men. According to Aristotle, all associations are established with the goal of attaining some good. For instance, he said that the Greek Polis comprised of the most general associations such as trade and family associations (Raymond, 2008). Therefore, it is the duty of the city-state must strive at attaining the highest good.
Aristotle summarizes that ‘man is a political animal` People can only attain good by interrelating peacefully and living as citizens in a state. He also identifies citizenship with the holding of administration and justice. He claims that the individuality of cities lies in the constitution
Harold Lasswell view on the nature of politics and the political was different from Aristotle`s perspective. He studied politics from a psychoanalysis point arguing that leaders would recognize important knowledge about politics via psychoanalysis. For instance, he argued that knowledge about childhood molestation would reveal why some politicians were conservatives and others radicals, why some were established administrators and others revolutionaries.
