Latin America is a region that has experienced numerous cases of violence, which has contributed significantly to democratic failure in the area. The collapse of democracy is usually seen in countries or territories where unity and monopolized utilization of force are seen. Therefore, constitutionalism rarely applies in this region, which leads to regime changes. In countries such as Bolivia, Venezuela, Brazil, and Argentina, lack of constitutionalism is the primary cause of fragility and challenges associated with politics.
