Police violence

This assignment asks you to search for policy responses to the social problem of police violence. You will need to search for information to answer the prompt question. You can use any sources you can find on-line, but it is your responsibility to evaluate the source in terms of who is making the claim and the evidence they show to back up their policy solution(s). You should start with the class readings and lecture. You should then turn to the Use of Force Project (https://8cantwait(dot)org/#project) to an external site. and the Police Executive Research Forum( https://www(dot)policeforum(dot)org/) to an external site. Then, find at least two other articles in the popular press expressing opinions on police violence and what, if anything, to do about it. Write a two page paper (single space, 12 point Times New Roman type, 1 inch margins) examining the policy arguments. Be sure to provide citations to your sources at the end of the paper. Proofread you work. The paper is worth 10 points and it should include the following sections: An introduction that defines the scope of the problem. (2 points); A description of the policy proposals that have been offered to reduce police violence (2 points) An explanation of the policy proposals in terms of the quality of the underlying data used to support it (2 points) Which policy proposals to do you think are likely to be most effective?
