For this assignment you should choose a local, state, or federal policy and outline the following in a 1.5-2 page policy briefing: Identify and summarize the problem or issue this policy is focused on Who are the stakeholders (i.e., what community is affected by this policy?) Offer your analysis on the effectiveness of the policy -- will this policy affect or address the problems it is meant to address? For support identifying a policy, you should review recent news, or utilize the list of policy focused organizations to determine what policies they are promoting. There are some very hot topic issues right now (paid family medical leave, medicaid, access to abortion, etc) but any health focused policy is an option. This paper should be APA formatted.
