Families are social structures composed of members who share various financial, emotional, and material resources. Families are created via marriage, genetics, and other intentional processes. The need to look out for one another is a distinctive characteristic of a family unit. These responsibilities are frequently referred to as family functions. Giving emotional support to other family members is one of the three core responsibilities of a family. Among these is providing them with support and affection when necessary. Second, family units have a duty to support their members financially. Giving their family members financial support enables them to live secure lives free from difficulties (Crash Course, 2017). Thirdly, social interaction between family members is required on an equitable basis. Younger family members can socialize themselves into essential societal norms and values and thus shape themselves into responsible adults in the future.
