Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision: HLTH 1020 Final Exam
HLTH 1020 Final Exam
Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. … It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”
– Andrew Carnegie, entrepreneur
The final exam will consist of three (3) components:
- A client interview in a team format;
- A written final self-reflection; and
- A statement of commitment/dedication
The final exam will evaluate the content discussed and demonstrated during the term, including but not limited to: effective communication; team skills; conflict management and negotiation; interprofessional leadership; building therapeutic relationships; and the client interview.
As the focus of the course is interprofessional education and practice, you will be evaluated in an interview format with your assigned team. As a team, you will each be representing a different member of the interprofessional team. These roles will be determined randomly and will demonstrate your understanding of that health care discipline’s scope of practice and role, as discussed during the health care discipline guest speaker sessions. The “client” that you will interview is represented by the client created for your case study.
As a team, you will have 15 minutes to complete your interview. Although you are functioning as a team, you will be evaluated individually. Please see the attached rubric.
Prior to arriving for your assigned interview, you will complete the self-reflection and statement of commitment/dedication. You will bring your completed documents, in addition to a blank copy of the rubric with you to your assigned interview date and time.
The final exam is worth 25% of your final mark: 15%- interview; five (5) % - self reflection; and five (5) % statement of commitment/dedication.
