1 Characteristics expected in the ending phase of a project’s group development that may differ from the working phase.
The ending phase involves activities that aim at dissolving the team after a successful or unsuccessful completion of a project. In this phase the team may feel uncertain about the future especially when they had been used to the routines of the project. Nervousness and fear may creep in during this phase. On the other hand, in the case of a successful project, the team may feel satisfied by the results and the yearning to do more while if the project failed, disappointment and regret would be seen.

Here the leader must employ oversight, control and motivational role. Moreover he should ensure that he makes constant reports on the work progress to ensure all is going to plan while being constantly available to offer advice and direction on the tasks.
