Demonstration technique of teaching guides learners on ways of performing a task through usage of chronological instructions with a purpose of enabling the learners to carry out the task independently. Effective teaching is brought about by identifying an active learning technique for the students are very crucial (Silberman, 1996). The learning techniques enable the teacher or lecturer to bring all the students to a mutual understanding of the topic. Group Dynamics is among the best active techniques of learning and is presented in a psychology class in a very demonstrative manner.
Kurt Lewin introduced one of the best active learning techniques in the year nineteen forty. Lewin is among the founders of social psychology and thus influenced the movement of Group Dynamics. Since then, the technique has proven to be effective because it is still active among the lecturers and learners.The experiential learning influences the students in that; their attitudes receive modification, their behavioral abilities are expanded, the cognitive structures are changed, among others(Walsh &Inala, 2010).A psychology class should engage in such a technique because in this course, interaction is a key practice. While teaching the psychology class, I would present this method because environment has great impact on individuals specifically in the context of experiential learning and social group. Moreover, as the educator, presenting a favorable environment for group discussion is very efficient in learning. It is advisable to always create time for social interaction in learning for social behavior psychology, as it contains the skills of listening to others and getting appreciate their contributions and views and developing a social character.
The main purpose of course evaluation is to assist a lecturer or an educator in professional development.The courses that are well designed to provide an environment that is structured, yet open-minded. The key element that brings quality analysis in evaluation is a crucial part of the institution’s use of tactic to a broadculture of quality.
