In the current society the ideas of supernatural powers have easily faded away into oblivion, but that is not to say that there are no instances that have pushed people to believe that there was some sort of supernatural intervention. The fact that most of the developments that are around as are as a results of scientific interventions that involve brilliant minds, and the embrace of religious beliefs or the lack thereof explains partly why most of the people do not give credit to the supernatural powers playing part in any instances in their lives. However there are incidences such as houses that are befallen by tragedy for more than once being related to supernatural and specifically the dark powers.
Incidences such as luck are some of the times extended to match the interventions of the supernatural. Events like near-death experiences are some of the time related to the fact that supernatural powers whisked the victims to safety or intervened in other ways, while in the same breath horrible accidents are associated with ominous supernatural powers. ...
