Scriptural authority and theological interpretation are two different and distinct themes that play a central role in understanding Christian worldviews. The distinction between the two topics is crucial because it relates to understanding and applying knowledge to routine life occurrences and situations. Psychology and theology have a shared interest regarding human cognitive functioning and inherent nature. Entwistle’s book examines five paradigms and reflections from empirical evidence to conceptualize the relationship between the Christian worldview and psychology.
