Coaching involves trying to create a new opportunity for a client by changing a client’s way of life. This is a new experience that encompasses unfamiliarity between two parties. Thus, for the coaching relationship to succeed the parties involved should work on a myriad of components. Firstly, accountability is the principal component that both the client and the coach should respect (Lacombe, 2017). The parties involved achieve this by keeping their promises and delivering their abilities and responsibilities. Secondly, they should build their trust at the start of their relationship. The coach should be able to convince his client that the nature of their rapport is very confidential. This is to ensure that clients can express their dreams, past experiences without the fear of being judged (Williams & Menendez, 2015).
