The term vocation describes a strong feeling of appropriateness for a specific career. Based on this definition, everyone must view work as a vocation to enable a radical but positive change in the world. This aspect ensures individuals fit best at occupation by viewing it as a calling from God. As a result, one acquires the enthusiasm of working hard to achieve their purpose. Most career counselors love to emphasize the importance of the view of work as a vocation, as explained by (Dik et al., 2009). These tenets indicate that the world would change positively, with people giving their best in their workplaces because of the respect they apportion to their careers when viewing it from a vocational perspective.
Performing best at work depends on the construct of vocation as it is where individuals receive fulfillment in their careers.
