For this assignment, you are an external industrial-organizational (I-O) psychologist hired by a brand new manufacturing company to develop a leadership training program for the leaders. You may select any level of leadership within any department of the organization, such as marketing managers, research and development (R&D) leaders, or managers on the shop floor. Design a leadership training program that includes the following elements:

types of training that will you use with the participants (be specific),

styles of leadership that you will teach the participants,

the method you will use to ensure that the participants are able to understand and apply the leadership styles in the workplace, and

how you will assess the effectiveness of your training program after it has been completed.

Several leadership styles reflect on leaders' behavioral patterns, enabling them to monitor their workers by giving them the direction and motivation they require toward a common vision. In a company, marketing managers are responsible for organizing and managing marketing campaign that raises awareness and creates demand for products. Thus, managers need to acquire the necessary skills to achieve these goals through training programs.
As an industrial-organizational (I-O) psychologist, there is various program that I can offer to market managers to stimulate their abilities and skills. Some common essential and influential topics to teach include conflict resolution, innovation motivation, and encouraging the workers. Since workplace conflict can occur due to several reasons, like disagreement concerning work procedures and interests, it would focus on teaching effective strategies to solve these unwanted conflicts. As a leader, it is important to focus on events and behaviors to prevent conflict in the workplace. Besides, leading innovation is essential because innovation is crucial for the work environment to stay competitive and relevant in the rapidly adjusting markets (Herrity, 2022). This process would provide opportunities to develop a successful work environment. Besides, it would teach the leaders various ways to motivate and encourage their employees. Motivation is essential as it facilitates workers' attraction, hiring, and retention. As a result, the image of their organization would improve.
