The four most important takeaway lessons I learned are the subconscious process, divergent thinking, crystallized intelligence, and self-concept as a factor that influences our thoughts. Subconscious thought processes often occur outside of a person’s conscious awareness but are quickly brought to consciousness when needed (Wade & Tavris). I often face several cases that may require me to multitask, and subconscious processes will be fundamental here. For example, in my workstation, a colleague may want a specific file that I have been keeping. The subconscious process will help me retrieve it easily.
