Carl Rogers believed that nature was conquerable and that the world of tomorrow was strongly associated with the Age of Aquarius. He supports his claims by stating that the person of tomorrow will be characterized by openness, desire for authenticity and wholeness, caring, wish for intimacy, yearning for the spiritual being, and anti-institutional. These characteristics are evident to every individual in the 21st century where the world embraces change and new reality (Rogers, 1995). Rogers describes how the people of tomorrow would usher in the new world based on their capacity to understand and absorb a paradigm shift. Scientific, cultural, and social change have shaped the world. Besides, the people of today who are more integrated and whole. They have faced opposition to change coming from the state, traditions, and intellects. However, the people of tomorrow continue to emerge in the light despite the opposition to change.
