There are numerous job positions to choose from across different sectors. Organizations can apply various recruitment procedures or processes to get the intended talent and hire them into specific organizations. From a future perspective, I would like to secure employment as a human resource manager, project manager, or marketing manager. According to Youssef-Morgan and Stark (2020), businesses have numerous means to locate, select, and hire potential applicants. Many local and international organizations follow specific recruiting steps or processes to hire a specific role, like the ones mentioned above.
First and foremost, a typical recruitment method for the human resource manager role in the organization is through applying for a job position on the firm’s website. Rai and Penjor (2020) support that web-based hiring has become common over the previous years. Most recruiters have adopted this method and perceived it increasingly effective. The medium-sized corporation advertises its jobs and partners with recruitment bodies to recognize appropriate candidates for the specific job. After a candidate’s application is accepted, the individual undergoes a rigorous interview, which can be virtual or in-person, guided by a recruiting officer. The hiring method is advantageous in different ways. For instance, the method attracts potential employees with interest in the firm’s mission, values, and vision. Moreover, it reduces hiring costs significantly, saves more time, and participants can apply at the convenience of their homesteads. However, despite saving time in the application process, sorting through the many applications received and urging them to attend interviews might be tiresome.
