The Managerialist emphasis is the most divergent in my opinion of servant leadership, while The Syncretists emphasis is the most convergent, according to my study of the seven different emphases of servant leadership. Genuine servant leadership should be the cornerstone of all you do, not just one aspect of your life. It should not be adopted on an as-needed basis or at the most convenient time because it is more of a lifestyle choice. The managerialist approach emphasizes implementing servant leadership only to meet performance goals and for the organization's good, not for the improvement of all parties.
