Khan and Mashikhi (2017) examine the effect of teamwork on the overall performance of the employees in the workplace. The research is done in the banking sector, with 120 employees, from ages 21 to 46, who were randomly selected from different organization departments. The data for the research was collected using self-administered questionnaires with a 5-point Likert scale. Based on the results, working with other people improved the performance of the employees compared to working on a task individually, with consideration to having a common goal. This is associated with collaboration and the variety in input that dramatically improves the performance of the employees.
