Introduction
Even though the initial project that my team and I created went on well, there are several things and observations that were made in regard to it. Every planning that is done by any given personnel undergoes several challenges along the way. This implies that our project plan is not exceptional in this case. The project portrayed a high level of success, especially during its initial stages. The success was significantly contributed by several factors that the respective departments of the project hugely considered. However, there are several failures that the project has displayed since it began. The failures were massively caused by the challenges that the project encountered along the way as it was being implemented. This reveals some areas and points that need to be addressed following these failures and challenges. This paper aims to give a solids analysis and report on the project's success, the failures, challenges faced, and the recommendations for the next phase.
Success
In the first week of constructing and planning for the project, the financial business process of the XYZ project was a great success. Everything regarding the business finances worked out pretty well as stipulated. The management and plans of the project were excellent and progressed perfectly. The success in the project planning and management sector was a significant milestone for the entire project. The management plan of the project's communication also did pretty well. The plan indicated that all the exchanges and the information of the project were handled appropriately throughout the lifespan of the project. The techniques and processes of communication, electronic reports, reposts, conferences, and information sharing were all much productive. This was a clear indication that the team handling the information and communication matter or affairs were doing a seemingly great job. That is why all the required and necessary information was availed at the required destination on time despite the challenges faced.
The first release that had several new features, including the approved UI design were delivered to the sites of the clients successfully. This showed that there were some steps of success that were evident during this project. There are some adjustments that were needed on the side of time, which also contributed to the success that was significantly experienced in the project. The initial release was delivered at the right time as scheduled. Delivering this initial release at the required time also enhanced the general success of the entire project.
Failures
Despite the aforementioned success that the project recorded, there are several points where the project recorded some significant failures. These failures massively lagged the project back in diverse aspects. One of the most significant failures recorded was being unable to meet the set dates. Even though the team members of diverse departments and teams in the project volunteered to work for extra hours in order for the project to meet its appointed dates, it still did not meet these expectations.
