Management and Administration – Proposal for the Archiving and Digitization of Data Archives

You have been assigned as the Administrative Officer in the Information Management Section. The section chief has invited you for a meeting and has briefed you regarding a signed MOU host Government to assist the key national authorities to archive and digitize their database in line with international standards. T



The Chief of the Information Management Section has shared with you the list of requirements in relation to the digitization project. The list of requirement includes goods and services (IT equipment, software and hardware, scanners, general supplies, human resources and training programs) with total amount of 500K USD which were made available by a donor.



You have been tasked by your supervisor to lead the coordination of the implementation process with all stakeholders and to report on the agreed timelines for each specific requirement and to assure that all requirements are initiated and delivered on time to avoid any delay at all stages of the project.



1. Outline your strategy in leading the project.



2. Please indicate which sections and/or units are to be involved in this digitization project, as well as the required documents and paperwork which need to be prepared in consultation with the substantive Sections and submitted to Mission Support respective sections to avoid any delays.



3. Draft a sample report to reflect virtual improvement at each area of requirement (reflect Procurement and Supply Chain stages), indicate achieved results, pending action and expected timeline for accomplishing, based on virtual estimated costs.
