The main goal of production companies is to ensure they put in place activities that will help it to generate more than the usual operating capacity. Usually, working capacity is the standard sustainable flow rate within a specified time by considering the unexpected and routine maintenance and operating glitches. To produce more, the management team should perform parallel activities, change operation sequences, and reduce work interruptions. The companies can maximize operating capacity by implementing these activities.
Performing activities in parallel mean that events take place simultaneously without affecting the performance of each other.
