Thank you for your perceptive response, John. I agree with you that one of the biggest problems is the top 1% getting richer. It is quite interesting that even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the share of the wealth of the top 1% increased. While the middle-class may be living paycheck-to-paycheck, I think the focus should be on those people on the lower end of the socio-economic spectrum. I think if governments focus on reducing poverty, the middle-class challenge will be addressed since the risk of falling into poverty is reduced.
