I’m a transformational leader because I believe that leadership is a crucial element in the nursing field. I have several qualities of a leader who can transform the field. Most importantly, effective communication is part of me. I have interpersonal skills and the know-how to engage different parties in any interaction for the information to reach them efficiently. Good communication is crucial for any leader that aims to head their team to the highest levels as much as possible. Moreover, I am also grateful to my instructor for their big heart and determination to transform my skills. Apart from relating to what was taught in my career, I took the instructor’s advice seriously, hoping for the best. The concepts learned about leadership are adequate to help me be a great leader in my field of specialization. Specifically, I’m confident that I will be competent in leading others in various assigned tasks wherever I will specialize.
Decision-making is as well an inevitable element in the nursing field. I have critical decision-making skills necessary to help in influencing positive outcomes in any organization wherever I secure employment.
