Imagine you work for a company that has recently merged with a global company. Write a brief introduction to your company as well as the company that merged with the company. Then develop an eight to ten (8-10) point checklist detailing what steps you would take as the HR manager to help unify the culture of both companies.
Create two (2) company introductions and develop an eight to ten (8-10) point checklist in which you:
1. Give a succinct overview of your fictitious company.
2. Give a succinct overview of the fictitious company merged with.
3. Develop an eight to ten (8-10) point checklist of steps you would take to unify company culture.
4. Explain your rationale for choosing each of the steps in your checklist.

Colesquare systems is a US-based company dealing with the manufacture and sale of automotive electrical systems and components. The company operates in the US market and employs 2500 employees. Colesquare has recently entered into a merger with Capstone Corporation.
Capstone Corporation
Capstone Corporation is a German-based global automotive parts supplier. Headquartered in Wolfsburg, the company has 5800 employees spread across various countries in which it operates.
Steps to Unify Cultures of both Companies.
1 Establish Leadership structure
The establishment of a leadership structure will provide guidance and clarify lines of authority.
2 Timely and regular communication
As informed by Lloyd (2018), when employees feel that they have been left in the dark, it becomes hard for them to support the change. Therefore, timely and regular communication will be essential to gain the support of employees from both sides.
3 Develop cultural integration agenda
Here, the cultural objective is defined in broad terms (Stafford & Miles, 2013). I will define the culture that I would want to emerge from the merger.
