In this assignment, you will be assessed based on the following Outcome:
HR410-3: Identify considerations to be used in designing effective training programs.
In this assignment, you will be given a case. You will then write a Design Document and a Lesson Plan (Noe page 225 and following) that could be implemented for that case. The case Design Document and Lesson Plan will apply what you learned in Unit 5 related to transfer of learning (near/far, adult learning theory, and transfer of training implications).
The Design Document will follow Table 5.6. The modified Lesson Plan will follow Table 5.7.
Case: You are asked to deliver a 1-day workshop on one of the following topics: Time Management, Being an Effective Team Member, Conflict Management, Effective Communication, or Leading Effective Meetings (you select which one topic). About 75 managers need to be trained. Complete the following Design Document and Lesson Plan in the Unit 6 Worksheet.

Near and Far Transfer
How did you apply near or far transfer of training in your Lesson Plan?
Adult Learning Theory
How did you apply adult learning theory in your Lesson Plan?
Transfer of Learning Implications (pages 177–193)
How did you apply transfer of training implications in your Lesson Plan?
Note: If you reference, take care to use quotation marks for direct quotations. Here is an example with correct citation: According to Noe (2017), “Training and development can help a company’s competitiveness by directly increasing the company’s value through contributing to intangible assets” (p. 17).
Note: If you paraphrase, take care to use the author and year of publication. Here is an example with correct citation: Intangible assets are important for any company. One way their value can be increased is a strategic use of training and development (Noe, 2017).

LESSON OUTLINE
NEAR AND FAR TRANSFER
HOW DID YOU APPLY NEAR OR FAR TRANSFER OF TRAINING IN YOUR LESSON PLAN?
Effective communication skills may be employed both in and out of the office. In order to achieve their objectives and serve the demands of the whole leadership chain, managers must be able to communicate effectively with their staff.
"The capacity to apply acquired talents properly to the workplace" is defined as "a close transfer of training" by this research (Noe, 2019). There is no need to re-learn what you learned during training. Learning how to utilize cash registers as an example is one example of this. T...
