Cynthia Mitchell, a manager in AgFunds, is faced with the dilemma of whether to hire Steve Ripley or not. Steve is a qualified and suitable candidate for this job, but Cynthia does not want to offer him the job since he is black and his race would not allow him to succeed in a white region.
