Your Task:
You are the lead of the HR Analytics team. The HR Director has requested that you prepare a Proposal of this HR Analytics project using survey to find evidence to support decision making on whether to adopt WFH policy in the company. You should highlight key areas of consideration to adopt WFH and include them in the proposal. Each employee should take no more than 15 minutes to complete the survey.

IBM SPSS is a software company that offers statistical analyses, machine algorithms, and other software products and services. The company handles big data and complex projects securely.
As a company, IBM SPSS has competent information technologists and other human resources. These people make the company's products and services available and accessible. However, due to the existing coronavirus pandemic, different operating industries, including software companies like IBM SPSS, have been affected. Most companies have diverted to work-from-home strategy to minimize the personal contact of people and follow the stay-at-home protocol. That is why the HR team devices a survey that will analyze the work-from-home strategy, whether it will benefit the company or not.
Aims
This paper will review a study on the work-from-home strategy of the telecommunication industry and identify key areas that need a measurement. These areas will be measured to know whether the implementation of work-from-home will be beneficial for the company. A survey will also be designed to gather the data needed for the measurement of key areas. The survey plan will also be devised in this paper.
Areas of Measures and their Sources
In a study by Bao et al. (2020), developers' productivity level on-site and at home is affected by many factors. Some of the factors are age, project type/size, number of projects, etc. Considering that there is an on-going pandemic that drives industries to work from home, productivity level may be affected by work-from-home setup, be it negative or positive. Since the primary concern of the company with the work-from-home setup is the performance and engagement level of the employees, it may be addressed by measuring the work engagement of employees on-site and at home. The productivity level may vary if the working environment changes from office to home or vice versa. Another area that can be measured is the volume of work or project that an employee can accommodate when working in the office and at home. The comfortability in the workspace may also affect the amount of workload an employee can finish. It is important to know how many employees will be able to do productively when work from home gets implemented. Also, the study (Bao et al., 2020) suggests that a large project may affect the productivity level of an employee differently when working from home. There may be a need to measure the gravity of a project and how it can be done without compromising the quality and necessary details.
