In the vicinity of Las Vegas, Nevada, I came across an individual who ensued to be my friend’s closest friend. Her name is Emily. She is a casualty of rape, raped by her husband and when the matter was taken to the police, they disregarded her sentiments ignoring the fact that she could not be raped by her husband. Taking the lady to the hospital took time since there was no one to help her immediately. Later on, her sister volunteered. The lady was raped, got serious injuries that needed prompt medication that was not available. She developed the trauma due to this spasm, that later advanced to be an acute trauma as she had to press charges against her own husband. It is clear that the status quo she is in will lead to panic disorders and if not helped timely, the chances of her developing panic disorders are high.
Services to support the individual
In this regard, the lady needs to be offered with guidelines for the open fractures as well as pelvic fractures. These services in addition to the opinions of the health experts are critical in saving the life of the lady. Also, there is a need to utilize clinical advisory groups which will provide recommendations on the way to go so as to overcome psychological disorders that have been brought about due to trauma. Another crucial service that needs to be offered to the victim includes full diagnostic assessments and also surgical operations in order to remove the internal injuries of the individual.
