Writing Case Study/Vignette Style Exam Questions
You are going to write CASE STUDY/VIGNETTE STYLE EXAM QUESTIONS. Each question will be focused on one of the topics on the next page (only one question per topic) You can get credit for EIGHT good questions (don’t assume your question will get credit- it needs to be a good question based on class content)
Write a short case study or vignette (this will be several sentences, as in our examples and as seen on your midterm) and clearly outline a problem related to the topic listed
Write a question related to the case study/vignette (things like “which of these would be the most effective solution”…, or “which of these represents the problem…” Questions MUST be complex – not simple, not obvious, not so easy that anyone could answer it. You may NOT COPY MATERIAL from anywhere – not from me, or the book, or each other or some Chatbot or any other source that is not your very own brain. Do not use quotes either. Only original work will be graded.
Provide at least THREE answer choices (multiple choice format) and clearly label the correct answer. You may NOT use “all of the above”, “none of the above” or answers like “a and c, but not b”. Your correct answer must actually be correct. Your alternate answers must not be so obvious that they are obviously wrong.
Each question must have a new, unique case/vignette – you may not write new questions using one of the already written cases.
Your questions (and answers) MUST be based on class content – don’t write questions that have nothing to do with what we learned in this class. Use your book to assist you (but don’t copy from the book)
All submitted work will go through Turnitin.com – if your similarity content is higher than 20%, assume you will not get any credit. (please do NOT copy the directions or any of my words, as that will make your Turnitin score high)
