What makes a good parent?
Good children are a direct result of one`s parenting … and a good parent is one who embodies commonsense, values, compassion, and the ability to care for the child spiritually, emotionally and financially. A good parent is one who does their very best and succeeds in bringing up a decent person. A good parent shows unconditional love, has a keen sense of apathy, understanding even the most intricate detail about the child, and supports the child whilst still being reasonably strict. A good parent is the one who wishes but the very best for the child and does all that they can to position and prepare the child for the future. A good parent should provide a good, secure and most importantly loving home that is devoid of neglect and violence for the child.
A good parent should always find time for the child no matter how busy their life is. They should make time to listen and understand what the child needs from you, whether it`s to their make believed or rambling stories. The parent should make time to give the children the attention, so that the child can feel appreciated and important to the parent, whether they just want to engage you in their innocent childish plays, or they just want to feel the warmth of your embrace.
